1. INFORMACIÓN GENERAL: NO ES NECESARIO COMPRAR. Nulo fuera del área geográfica terrestre de recepción de la señal de transmisión de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 como se explica en el párrafo Nº 3 de estas Reglas Oficiales, y donde esté prohibido. El Sorteo empieza el 30 de agosto 2007 a las 6.00 de la mañana y termina el 18 de mayo 2008 a las 11.59 de la noche (“Período del Sorteo”). Las horas de este Sorteo están indicadas como Hora Estándar del Centro de los EE.UU. (“CST” por su sigla en inglés). Las probabilidades de ganar dependen del número de inscripciones elegibles recibidas.

2. PARA INSCRIBIRSE: los participantes podrán escribir una carta nominando a un Maestro, ayudante de Maestro, o principal/rector (en conjunto, el “Educador”), empleado en una escuela en cualquiera de los siguientes condados: Collin, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant y Wise. Las cartas deben incluir nombre/s y apellido/s, dirección, número de teléfono y fecha de nacimiento del participante, junto a, nombre/s y apellido/s, dirección de la escuela y número de teléfono del Maestro. Las inscripciones deberán ser enviadas por correo o entregadas en mano en Telemundo, 3100 McKinnon Street, 8th Floor, Dallas, TX 75201. Las inscripciones pasan a ser propiedad de Kroger, KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, y NBC Universal, Inc. (“Patrocinadores”) no se confirmará su recibo y no serán devueltas.

Las Inscripciones deberán ser recibidas antes de las 11.59 de la noche del 18 de mayo 2008 para poder ser elegibles al Sorteo. Se podrá inscribir solamente una vez durante el Periodo del Sorteo y todas las inscripciones que excedan este límite serán anuladas. Las Inscripciones presentadas mediante software de repetición automática o cualquier otro mecanismo, ente o dispositivo automatizado, serán invalidadas. Las Inscripciones que estén incompletas, ininteligibles, alteradas o confusas por cualquier razón, incluyendo pero no limitado a cualquier falla de computadora/s o congestión de red/es de Internet (incluyendo de los Patrocinadores y demás entidades) serán invalidadas y no serán aceptadas. La inscripción constituye un permiso expreso y tácito, excepto donde esté prohibido por ley, para poder usar nombre/s y apellido/s, ciudad, estado, parecido, semejanza, imagen y/o voz del ganador en campañas publicitarias, promociones e iniciativas publicitarias/de relaciones públicas, sin ninguna compensación suplementaria.

3. ELEGIBILIDAD: abierto solamente para los ciudadanos y residentes legales de los EE.UU. residiendo y físicamente localizados en el área geográfica terrestre de recepción de la señal de transmisión de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, dentro de los condados de Collin, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker Rockwall, Tarrant y Wise, de 13 años de edad, mínimo, al 30 de agosto 2007. Si el participante reside en una jurisdicción que lo considera menor de edad, deberá obtener permiso previo de su padre, madre o tutor legal antes de inscribirse o presentar información de carácter personal. Los empleados de Kroger, KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, y NBC Universal, Inc., y sus respectivas casas matriz, empresas subsidiarias y afiliadas, y agencias de publicidad y promoción, y sus respectivos familiares en primer grado (esposos, padres y madres, hijos e hijas, y hermanos y hermanas y sus esposos) y/o toda persona habitando en un mismo domicilio con aquellos, estén o no emparentados, no son elegibles para inscribirse en este Sorteo.

4. SELECCIÓN DEL GANADOR Y ELEGIBILIDAD: se seleccionará al ganador durante un sorteo al azar realizado por empleados de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 de entre todas las inscripciones elegibles recibidas, alrededor del día 18 de cada mes, comenzando el 30 de agosto 2007 y finalizando el 18 de mayo 2008. El ganador será notificado al teléfono y/o correo convencional y/o correo electrónico que haya suministrado. Se exigirá al Ganador y al Maestro que firmen y devuelvan relevos de elegibilidad y responsabilidad y, donde sea permitido, relevos de publicidad dentro de los cinco (5) días de su notificación. El incumplimiento de este requisito dentro del periodo mencionado implicará la descalificación y subsiguiente selección de un ganador sustituto para la entrega del Premio. En caso de no poderse localizar a un ganador eventual tras hacer todo lo razonablemente posible, o si se descubre que el ganador es inelegible, o que no puede o no desea cumplir con estas Reglas Oficiales, o si su notificación de Premio es devuelta porque no se pudo entregar, dicho ganador potencial será descalificado y se seleccionará a un ganador eventual sustituto de entre las demás inscripciones elegibles recibidas. Limitado a un Premio por familia, residencia familiar o Maestro.

5. PREMIO: se otorgarán treinta y seis (36) Premios, cada uno incluyendo una entrevista para el correspondiente Maestro con KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, la cual será editada para un espacio de treinta (30) segundos que podrá salir al aire por KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 y una Tarjeta-Obsequio de $25 de Kroger también para el Maestro. El Valor Minorista Estimado de cada Premio es de $25. Los Patrocinadores se reservan el derecho a sustituir el Premio por otro de igual o mayor valor a su sola discreción. Todos los impuestos y demás gastos, costos o tasas relacionados con la aceptación y/o uso de cualquier Premio son responsabilidad exclusiva del Ganador/Maestro. Los Premios no podrán ser transferidos por los Ganadores o canjeados por dinero y son válidos solamente para los servicios mencionados arriba, sin que se permita sustitución de Premio a los Ganadores. En caso que este Sorteo sea cancelado antes que todos los Premios sean entregados, o si el cualquier Premio es perdido o no es reclamado, o si una notificación de Premio no puede ser entregada, o en caso de incumplimiento de cualquiera de estos requisitos, el Premio será perdido y los Patrocinadores podrán seleccionar al azar a un ganador sustituto de entre las demás inscripciones elegibles, para entregar el Premio o parte del Premio que quede por entregar.

6. CONDICIONES: inscribiéndose en este Sorteo, los participantes acuerdan en nombre propio y en representación de sus herederos, albaceas y administradores, (a) a relevar y amparar a Kroger, KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., y a sus respectivas casas matriz, empresas subsidiarias y afiliadas, empresas de capital y/o riesgo compartido, agencias administrativas, agencias de publicidad y promoción y sus respectivos funcionarios, directivos y empleados (conjuntamente las “Partes Relevadas”), contra toda responsabilidad, enfermedad, lesión, muerte, pérdida, litigio o daño que pudiera ocurrir, directa o indirectamente, con o sin negligencia, de la participación del participante en este Sorteo y/o su aceptación, posesión, buen o mal uso del Premio o de cualquier parte del Premio; (b) a indemnizar a las Partes Relevadas contra cualquier y toda responsabilidad resultando o surgiendo del Sorteo, y, por el presente documento, reconocer que las Partes Relevadas no han hecho ni son responsables de ningún modo por extender garantía alguna, implícita o explicita, de hecho o en ley, relacionada con los Premios, incluyendo cualesquiera garantías extendidas exclusivamente por el proveedor de Premios y entregadas junto al Premio; (c) de ser elegido ganador, a permitir la publicación de su/s nombre/s y/o apellido/s en www.telemundodallas.com y todo uso que las Partes Relevadas hagan de su/ nombre/s y apellido/s, voz, imagen y/o parecido y semejanza en campañas publicitarias, promociones e iniciativas de publicidad/de relaciones públicas sin compensación adicional y, a solicitud, consentir por escrito a ese uso, y, (d) obedecer estas Reglas Oficiales y renunciar a cualquier derecho a reclamar ambigüedad o error en las mismas o en el Sorteo, y respetar las decisiones de los Jurados y Patrocinadores las cuales son vinculantes y finales en todo sentido. El incumplimiento de estas reglas podrá resultar en la descalificación de esta promoción. Excepto donde esté prohibido por ley y como condición para poder participar en este Sorteo, el participante acuerda que: (1) todas las controversias y causas de acción surgiendo de o conectadas con el Sorteo o con el Premio otorgado serán resueltas individualmente sin recurrir a ninguna acción de clase y de manera exclusiva por arbitraje final y obligatorio según las reglas de la American Arbitration Association y realizada en la oficina regional de AAA más cercana al participante; (2) la Ley Federal de Arbitraje controlará toda interpretación, compromiso y procedimientos durante el arbitraje; y (3) la decisión de indemnización sobre el arbitraje podrá ser elevada a cualquier tribunal con jurisdicción en el caso. Bajo ninguna circunstancia se permitirá al participante que reciba indemnizaciones y el participante renuncia por este medio a cualquier y todo derecho a poder reclamar daños punitorios, incidentales o indirectos, o cualesquiera otros daños, incluyendo honorarios de abogados y más allá de gastos personales efectuados (es decir, costos relacionados con su Inscripción a este Sorteo). El participante renuncia además a todo cualquier y todo derecho a que sus daños sean multiplicados o aumentados.

7. CONDICIONES ADICIONALES: los Patrocinadores se reservan el derecho a cancelar este Sorteo o a descalificar permanentemente, de cualquier promoción, a cualquier persona que esté bajo sospecha de violar deliberadamente estas reglas. Cualquier perjuicio o intento de perjudicar este Sorteo o su operación normal es ilícito y sujeto a acción legal por parte de los Patrocinadores, quienes podrán demandar, a su exclusiva discreción, por daños y perjuicios en la medida máxima permitida por ley. Los Patrocinadores se reservan el derecho, a su exclusiva discreción, a cancelar o modificar este Sorteo si un virus de computadora, falla, o cualquier otra causa excediendo su control deteriore la administración, la seguridad o la operación normal del Sorteo. En caso de cancelación, los Premios serán otorgados entre las inscripciones elegibles recibidas antes del acontecimiento que haya producido la cancelación, sin sospecha de fraude. La notificación de cancelación será publicada en www.telemundodallas.com.

El incumplimiento de los Patrocinadores de cualquier término de estas Reglas Oficiales por caso fortuito, huracán, guerra, incendio, levantamiento social, terremoto, amenaza o hecho terrorista, accionar de enemigos públicos, accionar de entes gubernamentales que excedan el control de los Patrocinadores (excepto el cumplimiento de códigos y regulaciones vigentes) y cualquier y todo otro caso de fuerza mayor, no serán considerados incumplimiento de estas Reglas Oficiales. Las Partes Relevadas no serán de ningún modo responsables por daño a la computadora del participante o de terceros, relacionado o resultando de una Inscripción, o de bajar materiales/software en conexión con este Sorteo. Las Partes Relevadas tampoco serán responsables por fallas de telecomunicaciones/redes, fallas electrónicas, técnicas o de computadoras de ningún tipo, ni por trascripción inexacta de la información de inscripción, o errores en materiales promocionales o de mercadeo, errores en estas reglas, o errores humanos o electrónicos, ni por inscripciones robadas, dirigidas a la dirección equivocada, imprecisas, retrasadas por las transmisiones de computadoras, perdidas, dañadas o que no tengan su correspondiente franquicia paga/sello/timbre postal.

8. ANUNCIO DE LOS GANADORES: para conocer nombre/s y/o apellido/s de los ganadores visite www.telemundodallas.com o envíe un sobre con su nombre/s y apellido/s y dirección y franquicia paga/sello/timbre postal - a ser recibido antes del 29 de junio 2008, a: Valores En La Educación Sweepstakes, Telemundo, 3100 McKinnon St., 8th Floor, Dallas, TX 75201.

Official Rules
August 30, 2007

1. PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void outside the KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 terrestrial geographic viewing area as defined in Paragraph 3 of these Official Rules and where prohibited. Sweepstakes begins on August 30, 2007 at 6:00 AM and ends on May 18, 2008 at 11:59 PM (“Sweepstakes Period”). All times in this Sweepstakes refer to Central Time. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

2. TO ENTER: To enter, entrants may write a letter nominating a teacher, teacher’s aid, or Principal (collectively “Educator”) employed at a school in any of the following counties: Collin, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise Letters must contain entrant’s name, address, telephone number, and date of birth, along with the Teacher’s name, school address, and phone number. Entries must be mailed to or dropped off at Telemundo, 3100 McKinnon Street, 8th Floor, Dallas, TX 75201. All entries become the property of Kroger, KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, and NBC Universal, Inc. (“Sponsors”) and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Entries must be received before 11:59 PM on May 18, 2008 to be eligible for the period’s drawing. You may enter once during the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entries received from any person or email address thereafter will void all such additional entries. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted or unintelligible for any reason including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion (including at Sponsors and other entity), are void and will not be accepted. Entry constitutes permission, except where prohibited by law, to use winner's name, city, state, likeness, image and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to permanent legal U.S. residents who are located and residing in the in the KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 terrestrial geographic viewing area in the counties of Collin, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise and who over 13 or older as of August 30, 2007. If entrant is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must obtain parent/legal guardian consent prior to entering or submitting any personally identifiable information. Employees of Kroger, KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, and NBC Universal, Inc., and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliate companies and advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and/or persons living in the same households, whether related or not, are not eligible to enter Sweepstakes.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winner will be selected in a random drawing by employees of KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 from all correct eligible entries on or about the 18th day of every month starting August 30, 2007 and ending May 18, 2008 and will be notified by phone and/or mail and/or at the email address provided by winner. Winner and Teacher will be required to return a completed, signed and notarized affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and, except where prohibited, a publicity release within five (5) days of such notification. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner for that prize will be selected. If potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, if he/she is found to ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if his/her prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries. Limit one prize per family, household, or Teacher.

5. PRIZE: There will be thirty-six (36) Prizes awarded, each consisting of the following: a interview for Teacher with KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, that will be edited to thirty (30) seconds which may be aired on KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 and a $25 Kroger Gift Card for Teacher. Estimated Retail Value of each prize is $25. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. All taxes and all other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize is the sole responsibility of winner and/or Teacher. Prize cannot be transferred by winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the services detailed above, with no substitution of prize by winner. In the event this Sweepstakes is terminated before all prizes are awarded, if any prize is forfeited or unclaimed, if any prize notification is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsors may randomly select from remaining eligible entries an alternate winner for all remaining prize elements.

6. CONDITIONS: By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant’s heirs, executors and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Kroger, KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., and their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, joint venture companies, administrative agencies, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes and/or his or her acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or any portion thereof; (b) to indemnify Sponsors from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to hereby acknowledge that Sponsors have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to prizes, including express warranties provided exclusively by the prize supplier that are sent along with the prize; (c) if selected as a winner, to the posting of such entrant’s name on www.telemundodallas.com and the use by Released Parties of such name, voice, image and/or likeness for publicity, promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official rules or the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the judges and/or Sponsors, whose decisions are binding and final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or a prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and held at the AAA regional office nearest the entrant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this (Sweepstakes), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

7. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsors reserve the right to terminate this Sweepstakes and/or permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or operation of the Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes should any computer virus, malfunction or other cause beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, prizes will be awarded from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring cancellation. Notice of cancellation will be posted at www.telemundodallas.com.

The failure of Sponsors to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsors (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, for inaccurate transcription of entry information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, errors in these rules, for any human or electronic error, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged or postage due.
