1. INFORMACION PRELIMINAR: NO ES NECESARIO COMPRAR. No es válido afuera del área geográfica terrestre de recepción de la señal de transmisión de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 como se detalla en el Párrafo 3 de estas Reglas Oficiales y donde esté prohibido. El Sorteo comienza el 24 de abril a las 5.00 de la tarde y finaliza el 21 de mayo 2008 a las 5.30 de la tarde. (“Periodo del Sorteo”). Las horas indicadas en este Sorteo están indicadas como Horas del Centro de los EE.UU. Las probabilidades de ganar dependen del número de inscripciones elegibles recibidas.

2.PARA INSCRIBIRSE Y PARTICIPAR: todos los miercoles, entre las 5.00 y 5.30 de la tarde durante el Período del Sorteo (comenzando el 24 de abril 2008), KXTX 39 transmitirá un número de cuatro dígitos elegidos al azar (cada uno un “Número Diario de Azar”), el cual dará inicio a un período de quince minutos para la recepción de llamadas (cada período el “Período de Llamadas del Premio Diario”) (es decir, que durante cada uno de los respectivos períodos diarios se transmitirán: un Número Diario de Azar diferente, y se abrirá un Período de Llamadas del Premio Diario diferente). El primer televidente en llamar a KXTX 39 por la Línea Directa de la Promoción o “Hotline” al 1-877-598-9839, durante el Período de Llamadas del Premio Diario y tenga en su posesión un billete de un dólar con un número de serie que contenga (en cualquier orden) los cuatro dígitos incluidos en el Número Diario de Azar anunciado al inicio del correspondiente Período de Llamadas del Premio Diario, será el ganador eventual del Primer Premio Diario de $1,000 sujeto a la verificación del billete de dólar y al cumplimiento de estas Reglas Oficiales por parte del ganador.

3.ELEGIBILIDAD: NO ES NECESARIO COMPRAR. El Sorteo está abierto solamente para los residentes legales permanentes de los EE.UU., mayores de 18 años de edad al 31 de marzo 2008 que residan en el área geográfica terrestre de recepción de la señal de transmisión de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, incluyendo los condados de Anderson, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Cook, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Freestone, Hamilton, Henderson, Hill Hood, Hopkins, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker Rains, Red River, Rockwall, Sommervell, Tarrant, Van Zandt, y Wise. Esta Promoción empieza a las 5.00 de la tarde del 24 de abril y finaliza a las 5.30 de la tarde del 21 de mayo del 2008 (el “Período de la Promoción”). Las horas indicadas en estas Reglas Oficiales están indicadas como Horas del Centro de los EE.UU. Inscribiéndose en esta Promoción, los participantes aceptan y acceden de manera incondicional a cumplir con estas Reglas Oficiales y con las decisiones de KXTX 39, las cuales serán finales y vinculantes en todos los asuntos y todas las instancias. Los funcionarios, directivos y empleados actuales o anteriores de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., (“Patrocinadores”) y sus respectivas casas matriz, compañías subsidiarias y afiliadas y agencias de publicidad y promoción y familia inmediata (esposos, padres, hijos e hijas, hermanos y hermanas y sus esposos) y toda otra persona viviendo en la misma residencia con estos (estén o no relacionados familiarmente) no son elegibles para participar.

4.SELECCIÓN DE GANADORES Y NOTIFICACIÓN: el primer televidente en llamar a KXTX 39 a la Línea Directa de la Promoción o “Hotline” al 1-877-598-9839 cada miércoles durante el Periodo de la Promoción y del Período de Llamadas del Premio Diario y tenga en su posesión un billete de un dólar con un número de serie que contenga (en cualquier orden dentro de la serie) los cuatro dígitos incluidos en el Número Diario de Azar anunciado al inicio del correspondiente Período de Llamadas del Premio Diario, será el ganador eventual del Primer Premio Diario de $1,000 sujeto a la verificación del billete de dólar y su cumplimiento de estas Reglas Oficiales. Para su verificación, los ganadores eventuales deberán traer consigo el billete de un dólar con los cuatro dígitos incluidos en el Número Diario de Azar a: KXTX 39, 3900 Barnett St., Fort Worth, TX 76103, antes de las 5.00 de la tarde del próximo día hábil (de trabajo) para reclamar el correspondiente Primer Premio Diario; si los ganadores eventuales no cumplen con este requisito, perderán el premio que de otro modo hubieran tenido derecho a recibir. Las inscripciones pasan a ser propiedad de KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, y NBC Universal, Inc. (“Patrocinadores”), no se acusará su recibo y no serán devueltas. Limitado a un premio por familia o residencia familiar.

5.PREMIOS: se entregará un total de cuatro (4) Primer Premios y cada uno de los ganadores recibirá una tarjeta de obsequio por un valor de $1,000.00. Cada uno de os ganadores es responsable de completar y firmar relevos de responsabilidad y publicidad y devolverlos junto a la declaración jurada de elegibilidad y relevos de responsabilidad y publicidad del ganador. El premio no incluye comidas, bebidas, propinas y demás gastos no mencionados aquí, los cuales son responsabilidad exclusiva de cada uno de los ganadores. El Valor Minorista Calculado de cada uno de los Primer Premios es de $1,000.00. El Valor Minorista Calculado de todos los premios es de $4,000.00. Los Patrocinadores se reservan el derecho a sustituir este premio por otro similar de igual o mayor valor a su absoluta discreción. Los impuestos y demás gastos, costos y cargos asociados con la aceptación o el uso de cualquier premio son responsabilidad exclusiva del ganador. Los Patrocinadores entregaran al ganador un Formulario 1099 del Servicio Interno de Rentas (“IRS” por sus siglas en inglés) por el valor minorista calculado aquí y tal y como se menciona aquí, de su premio en el año calendario en que lo haya ganado. El Premio no podrá ser transferido por el ganador o canjeado por dinero en efectivo y es valido solamente por los servicios detallados arriba, sin permitirse sustitución de premios por parte del ganador. En caso que este Sorteo sea cancelado antes que todos los premios serán otorgados, o si algún premio es perdido o no es reclamado, si la notificación (de que se gano un premio) no puede ser entregada, o en caso que no se cumpla con alguno de estos requisitos, el premio será perdido y los Patrocinadores seleccionarán, al azar, a un nuevo ganador de entre las demás inscripciones elegibles para la entrega de premios.

6.CONDICIONES: inscribiéndose en este Sorteo los participantes acuerdan, en nombre propio y a nombre y en representación de sus herederos, albaceas y administradores: (a) eximir y amparar a KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., y a sus respectivas casas matrices, empresas subsidiarias y afiliadas, compañías de capital y/o riesgo compartido, agencies administrativas, agencias de publicidad y promoción y sus respectivos funcionarios, directivos y empleados, (conjuntamente las “Partes Relevadas”) contra toda responsabilidad, enfermedad, lesión, muerte, pérdida, pleito, o daños y perjuicios que pudieran suceder, directa o indirectamente, causados por negligencia o por cualquier otro motivo resultando de su participación en este Sorteo y/o de su aceptación, o uso debido o indebido del Premio o cualquier parte del Premio; (b) indemnizar a las Partes relevadas contra toda responsabilidad resultando o surgiendo del Sorteo y por este medio reconocer que las Partes relevadas no han de ningún modo hecho, ni son responsables por extender, garantías o declaraciones expresas o implícitas, de hecho o en ley, relativas al Premio, incluyendo cualquier garantía expresa extendida exclusivamente por el proveedor mediante su entrega del Premio; (c) de ser seleccionado como ganador, a la publicación de su nombre/s y apellido/s http://www.telemundodallas.com a que las Partes Relevadas usen su/s nombre/s y apellido/s, voz, imagen y/o semejanza en publicidad, promociones y campañas publicitarias sin compensación adicional y, de ser requerido, a dar su autorización, por escrito, para ese uso; y (d) a cumplir con estas Reglas Oficiales y a renunciar al derecho a reclamos por ambigüedad o error en estas Reglas Oficiales o en el Sorteo, y a someterse a las decisiones de los jurados y/o Patrocinadores, las cuales son de carácter vinculante y final. El incumplimiento de cualquier término de estas Reglas Oficiales podrá resultar en la descalificación de este Sorteo.

7.CONDICIONES ADICIONALES: los Patrocinadores se reservan el derecho a cancelar este Sorteo o a descalificar permanentemente de cualquier promoción a cualquier persona que estos crean haya violado deliberadamente estas Reglas Oficiales. Cualquier intento deliberado por dañar el Sorteo o su operación, es ilícito y está sujeto a acción legal por parte de los Patrocinadores, quienes podrán procurar reparación por daños y perjuicios en la medida máxima permitida por ley. Los Patrocinadores se reservan el derecho a cancelar, modificar o suspender el Sorteo si un virus, falla u otra causa fuera de su control corrompe la administración, seguridad u operación correcta del Sorteo. En caso de cancelación, los premios serán otorgados entre todas las inscripciones elegibles que no estén bajo sospecha y que hayan sido recibidas antes de que ocurriera el incidente que deriva en la cancelación. El aviso de cancelación será publicado en http://www.telemundodallas.com.

El incumplimiento de cualquier cláusula de estas Reglas Oficiales por parte de los Patrocinadores debido a un caso fortuito, huracán, guerra, incendio, disturbio social, terremoto, amenaza o actividad terrorista, maniobra de enemigos públicos, decisiones de autoridades gubernamentales fuera del control de los Patrocinadores (excepto cumplimiento de normas y regulaciones vigentes) y todo otro hecho de fuerza mayor, no serán considerados violaciones de estas Reglas Oficiales.

Las Partes Relevadas no asumen ningún tipo de responsabilidad por perjuicio o daño a la computadora del participante o de terceros, relacionados con o resultando de la Inscripción o de bajar materiales o software en conexión con este Sorteo. Las Partes Relevadas no son responsables por fallas de ningún tipo en las telecomunicaciones o redes, fallas electrónicas, técnicas o de computadora, trascripción errónea de información de Inscripción, error en material promocional o de mercadeo, error en estas Reglas Oficiales, o cualquier error humano o electrónico o por Inscripciones que sean robadas, mal dirigidas, alteradas, retrasadas por transmisiones de computadoras, perdidas, dañadas o sin franqueo postal.

CONFLICTOS: ESTE SORTEO ESTÁ REGIDO POR E INTERPRETADO SEGÚN LAS LEYES DEL ESTADO DE LA FLORIDA Y EL FORO Y LUGAR DESIGNADO PARA RESOLVER CONFLICTOS ESTARÁ UBICADO EN LA CIUDAD DE MIAMI, FLORIDA. SI UN CONFLICTO O RECLAMO NO PUEDE SER RESUELTO POR CONVERSACIONES DIRECTAS O MEDIACIÓN, SERÁ RESUELTO MEDIANTE ARBITRAJE FINAL Y VINCULANTE ADMINISTRADO POR JUDICIAL ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION SERVICES, INC., (“JAMS” POR SU SIGLA EN INGLÉS) SEGÚN SUS REGLAS Y PROCEDIMIENTOS SIMPLES O SEGÚN VERSIONES POSTERIORES DE LAS MISMAS (“REGLAS JAMS”). LAS REGLAS JAMS SERÁN RESPETADAS PARA PROCESO DE SELECCIÓN DE ÁRBITRO, EXCEPTO QUE DICHO ÁRBITRO DEBERÁ TENER EXPERIENCIA LEGAL Y LICENSIA PARA PRACTICAR DERECHO EN FLORIDA. LOS JUICIOS INICIADOS SEGÚN ESTE PÁRRAFO TOMARÁN LUGAR EN EL CONDADO DE MIAMI-DADE. LA REPARACIÓN/REMEDIO DE RECLAMOS ESTARÁ LIMITADA A DAÑOS Y PERJUICIOS SUFRIDOS ÚNICAMENTE, Y NINGUNA DE LAS PARTES Y EN NINGUN CASO, TENDRÁ DERECHO A RECOBRAR DAÑOS PUNITORIOS, EJEMPLARES, INCIDENTALES O INDIRECTOS, INCLUYENDO HONORARIOS DE ABOGADO/S, O CUALQUIER OTRO GASTO SIMILAR RELACIONADO CON LA PRESENTACIÓN DE UN RECLAMO, O A RESCINDIR ESTE ACUERDO O A PROCURAR MEDIDAS CAUTELARES O RECURSOS DE EQUIDAD.

8. 1.GENERAL INFORMATION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void outside the KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 terrestrial geographic viewing area as defined in Paragraph 3 of these Official Rules and where prohibited. Sweepstakes begins on April 24, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. and ends on May 21, 2008 5:30 P.M. (“Sweepstakes Period”). All times in this Sweepstakes refer to Central Time. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

2.TO ENTER: Each Wednesday, between 5:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. during the Promotion Period (beginning on April 24, 2008), KXTX 39 will broadcast a four-digit random number (each a “Daily Random Number”), which will trigger the beginning of a fifteen minute call-in period (each a “Daily Prize Call-In Period”) (i.e., a different Daily Random Number and a different Daily Prize Call-In Period will be broadcast during each respective time period). The first viewer who calls KXTX 39 on the Promotion Hotline Number, 1-877-598-9839, during the Daily Prize Call-In Period and has in his or her possession a one dollar bill with a serial number that contains (in any order within the serial number) each of the four digits included in the Daily Random Number announced at the beginning of the corresponding Daily Prize Call-In Period will be the potential winner of a Daily First Prize in the amount of $1000, subject to verification of the one dollar bill and such individual's compliance with these Official Rules.

3.ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open only to permanent legal U.S. residents who are located and residing in the KXTX-TV Telemundo 39 terrestrial geographic viewing area in the counties of Anderson, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Cook, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Freestone, Hamilton, Henderson, Hill Hood, Hopkins, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker Rains, Red River, Rockwall, Sommervell, Tarrant, Van Zandt, and Wise who 18 years of age or older as of March 31, 2008. Employees of KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliate companies and advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and/or persons living in the same households, whether related or not, are not eligible to enter Sweepstakes. Promotion begins April 24, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. and ends on May 21, 2008 at 5:30 P.M. (“Promotion Period”). All times in these Official Rules refer to Central Time. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of KXTX 39, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Officers, directors, current or former employees of Telemundo Texas LP KXTX TV (“Sponsor”), NBC Universal, Inc., and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliate companies and advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and those living in the same household as any of the foregoing (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate.

4.WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The first viewer who calls KXTX 39 on the Promotion Hotline Number, 1-877-598-9839 each Wednesday during the Promotions Period, during the Daily Prize Call-In Period and has in his or her possession a one dollar bill with a serial number that contains (in any order within the serial number) each of the four digits included in the Daily Random Number announced at the beginning of the corresponding Daily Prize Call-In Period will be the potential winner of a Daily First Prize in the amount of $1,000.00, subject to verification of the one dollar bill and such individual's compliance with these Official Rules. For verification purposes, potential winners must bring the actual one-dollar bill with each of the four digits included in the corresponding Daily Random Number to KXTX 39, 3900 Barnett St., Fort Worth, TX 76103, before 5:00 P.M. on the following business day in order to claim the corresponding Daily First Prize. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of any prize that such potential winner might otherwise have been entitled to receive. All entries become the property of KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, and NBC Universal, Inc. (“Sponsors”) and will not be acknowledged or returned. Limit one prize per family or household.

5.PRIZE: There will be a total of four (4) First Prizes awarded. First Prize winners will each receive a $1,000.00 gift card. Each winner is responsible for obtaining liability and publicity releases and responsible of completing and signing which must be returned with winner’s affidavit of eligibility, liability release and publicity release. The prize does not include meals, beverages, gratuities or any other expenses not expressly stated herein, all of which are the sole responsibility of each winner. Estimated Retail Value of each First Prize is $1,000.00. Estimated Retail Value of all prizes is $4,000.00. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. All taxes and all other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 form from Sponsors for the total estimated retail value, as stated herein, of his/her prize that he/she won in the calendar year that he/she won. Prize cannot be transferred by winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the services detailed above, with no substitution of prize by winner. In the event this Sweepstakes is terminated before all prizes are awarded, if any prize is forfeited or unclaimed, if any prize notification is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsors may randomly select from remaining eligible entries an alternate winner for all remaining prize elements.

6.CONDITIONS: By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant’s heirs, executors and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless KXTX-TV Telemundo 39, Telemundo Network Group LLC, NBC Universal, Inc., and their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, joint venture companies, administrative agencies, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes and/or his or her acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or any portion thereof; (b) to indemnify the Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to hereby acknowledge that the Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to prizes, including express warranties provided exclusively by the prize supplier that are sent along with the prize; (c) if selected as a winner, to the posting of such entrant’s name on http://www.telemundodallas.com and the use by Released Parties of such name, voice, image and/or likeness for publicity, promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official rules or the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsors, whose decisions are binding and final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion.

7.ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsors reserve the right to terminate this Sweepstakes or permanently disqualify from any promotion any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or operation of the Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes should any computer virus, malfunction or other cause beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, prizes will be awarded from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring cancellation. Notice of cancellation will be posted at http://www.telemundodallas.com.

The failure of Sponsors to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsors (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, for inaccurate transcription of entry information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, errors in these rules, for any human or electronic error, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged or postage due.

DISPUTES: THE SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA. IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY JUDICIAL ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION SERVICES, INC., IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS STREAMLINED ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES OR SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THEREOF (“JAMS RULES”). THE JAMS RULES FOR SELECTION OF AN ARBITRATOR SHALL BE FOLLOWED, EXCEPT THAT THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE EXPERIENCED AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN FLORIDA. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS PARAGRAPH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE COUNTY OF MIAMI-DADE. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.
